Vintage and creativity.

My studio small. But in it the sufficient place for canvases, my works, books on art and different darlings my heart of subjects. As I like old things!

I collect  and save bronze candlesticks, oil lamps, icons, and many other things in our house. Look are creates certain atmosphere in my studio.

Sometime I will return to this theme again. And now my a palette and an easel invite me.

My old palette.

I so worked with it much. It to a certain extent laboratory of my painting. I want to reflect on the canvases beauty of our world, all its paints and that fine spiritual light which fills it. In each picture I search for the sun. Therefore on my palette such bright paints.

I love my city and I am proud of its history. I very much like to write it to those far times when on it the first tram went, and cars met in streets much less often than horse crews. I hear sounds of old Vitebsk and I see its inhabitants. It seems to me that as perceived E.Kortes the Paris. When I have seen for the first time Cortes's canvases, I have distinctly heard music of its city. It is fine, when the painting so gives to us much. Sometimes I write works in the spirit of Cortes to hear sounds of the Vitebsk and to inhale its pure ringing air, to pass on the streets which part doesn't exist today.
