Vitebsk today has little in common with Vitebsk at the beginning of the 19century, landscapes can be sometimes the same, but everyday life like characters has changed completely. In my paintings, I invite you to relive this period, by showing you a pleasant strolls along the squares and boulevards in Vitebsk when time did not count, when one had all one's time to idle, to stroll along the streets, to window-shop, to walk quietly along the boulevards.
